Health Care Reform
#HCR, also known as America’s Health Care Reform, is really very simple. Stop trying to confuse, complicate, and conflate the issues. We the people, would like the exact same health care plan that the members of Congress have today.
You know the one; that plan the US taxpayers provide to the US Congress, and pay for. Yes that one. No need for debate, filibuster, or flub-a-dub. Dead on simple. Thanks.
The only thing Congress has managed to accomplish over the past year, is to wake the sleeping ‘Independent’ giant. It is about time!

The TwitVim client works with wordpress, twitter, identica, and other statusnet instances. Add a post title by separating the title from the text by two colons( :: ). Support for replies and retweets will be added soon. This feature is still under development on WordPress.com. WP support for the twitter api.

ChromiYum on Ubuntu
With a previous, or current build (4.0.251.0) of Chromium Web Browser on Ubuntu (Xubuntu / 9.10 Karmic), one can disable/enable Javascript and/or pass other options to Chromium via /etc/chromium-browser/default:
# Options to pass to chromium-browser
CHROMIUM_FLAGS=”-disable-javascript”
Great for testing the Chromi-Yum browser. Javascript is enabled by default. For some reason there is no option to disable Java or Javascript in the GUI, yet?
